Bottom line is that I have been out of work for the past six months, my new job doesn't pay nearly as well as my old one (and I don't start for another month anyways) and I have this huge credit card debt and I need to pay it off. All I need is £1 from 8000 people, or £2 from 4000, or £5 from 1600 people - you get the idea. So if you have an extra quid or two, please consider throwing it my way.
HERE'S THE DEAL... I'm a girl in my late twenties who lives in Manchester. Over the last year I've run up quite a credit card bill... nearly £8000 to be exact. OUCH! Maybe it was too many morning lattes that pushed me over the edge, maybe it was the holidays abroad... Who knows! My debt just got bigger and bigger, and now here I am today with a huge monthly payment that I simply cannot afford. Yes, I have cut up all of the cards, yes I have contacted the CCCS, yes I have taken on extra work, yes I am parting with my personal possessions to pay my debt off.
But I believe that this world is a good place, and if someone needs help, then they should ask for it.
